Sardar Shabbir Ahmed, M.Phil (Batch 2014-2016)
Sardar Shabbir Ahmed received a degree in M.Phil (Pharmacy Practice) from HIPS in the year 2017. He secured 2nd position in MPhil Pharmacy Practice in his batch. During his course of the degree, he proved to be a brilliant and remarkable student. His research focused on the pharmacovigilance system in Pakistan. Sardar Shabbir Ahmed is currently serving as a senior drug quality controller at Federal Capital. He owes numerous contributions to the pharmacy practice profession in Pakistan including the development of National Pharmacovigilance Cell in Islamabad. He is also serving as Head of Rapid Response Task Force for National Covid-19 Control Cell for Islamabad.
Ayisha Hashmi, Pharm.D (Batch 2008-2013) & M.Phil (Batch 2014-2016)
Ayisha Hashmi was a graduate of batch Fall (2008-2013) of Doctor of Pharmacy at HIPS. She secured a Gold Medal for achieving the first position in her batch. After graduation, she started her career as an academic pharmacist at Hamdard Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She started her M.Phil in the year 2014 and was a student of the pioneer batch of MPhil Pharmacy Practice. She completed her M.Phil in the year 2016 with distinction and secured 1st position in her batch. Due to her hard work and perseverance, she rose to new heights and soon was promoted to lecturer. She is a part of the pharmacy practice research cluster at HIPS and has published more than 10 research articles and represented at various National as well as International platforms. Besides this, she is also serving as Vice President of the Hamdard University Pharmacy Practice Alumni Association.
Ahmed Furqan Kazi, Pharm.D (Batch 2010-2015) & M.Phil (Batch 2017-2019)
Ahmed Furqan Kazi completed his Doctor of Pharmacy from Hamdard Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 2015. He has also completed his M.Phil in Pharmacy Practice from HIPS in the year 2019. His research focused on health information systems in the healthcare facilities of Pakistan. He is currently serving as President of the Hamdard University Pharmacy Practice Alumni Association. Throughout his academic career, he was involved in organizing various student academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities as president of Hamdard Student Society. After his graduation, he has served as a Business Development Project Manager at HealthBee Projects (Pvt) Ltd and also been the Head of Regulatory Affairs division at the company. He has also served as a Team Lead for establishing and managing a pharmacy for a 200-bed hospital. He has been a part of different healthcare projects with MSH (USA), Devnet & USAID, MoNHSR&C and NIH (Pakistan). He has also served as a visiting faculty member at Hamdard Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hamdard University Islamabad Campus. Currently, he is working as a Deputy Manager, Services Division at Fauji Foundation, one of the largest conglomerates in Pakistan with a strategically diversified investment portfolio.
Zeeshan Arshad, M.Phil (Batch 2017-2019)
Zeeshan Arshad received his degree in M.Phil (Pharmacy Practice) from HIPS in the year 2019 with good scores in course work as well as research. His research work was a novel in the field of pharmacy practice in Pakistan highlighting the issues related to the supply chain of management of pharmaceuticals in the country. After completing his MPhil Pharmacy Practice, he was selected as Senior Manager Warehouse and Supply Chain organization at Medask PVT LTD.
Zarmeena Qazi, Pharm.D (Batch 2008-2013) & M.Phil (Batch 2014-2016)
Zarmeena Qazi completed her Doctor of Pharmacy in the year 2013 from HIPS. Soon after passing out, she joined Getz Pharma as pioneer female Diabetic Educator in Rawalpindi. She provided providing pharmaceutical care services to number of patients at Diabetic Clinics as well as Government Hospitals. Due to her continuous hard work, she was promoted as Diabetic Education Manager for the whole Rawalpindi Territory. She received her M.Phil degree in Pharmacy Practice in year 2016 from HIPS. Her research work focused on knowledge and perceptions of diabetes among diabetic educators, patients and physicians. Currently, she is serving as Field Manager for Oncology products at Roche Pharmaceuticals.
Kaiwan Hyder Pharm.D (Batch 2008-2013)
Kaiwan Hyder graduated from Hamdard Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in the year 2013. During his course of study, he won various prizes for the department by participating in National level competitions. After graduation, he joined Pfizer as a Territory Manager for Oncology but soon rose to new heights as he joined a private pharmaceutical firm Network Marketing Services as a Field Manager. Currently, he has been selected as Hospital Pharmacist by Punjab Public Services Commission and has been appointed at THQ Gujar Khan.
Syed Shan Junaid, Pharm.D (Batch 2008-2013)
Syed Shan Junaid completed his Doctor of Pharmacy from Hamdard Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 2013. He moved abroad to the USA where he applied for Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination and cleared the examination in the first attempt and was registered as a pharmacy technician in the USA. On completion of the pre-requisite internship, he cleared the NAPLEX examination and was registered as a pharmacist in the USA. He started his career by working at Exactcare Pharmacy, Ohio, USA. Due to his hard work and dedication towards the pharmacy profession, he was selected as Pharmacy Manager at CVS pharmacy, one of the largest chain pharmacies in the USA. Currently, he is working as Director of Pharmacy for CVS pharmacy in Ohio.
Tahir Naqash, Pharm.D (2006-2011)
Tahir Naqash graduated from Hamdard Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 2011. He started his career as Field Executive at OBS Pharmaceuticals. He then worked as a Pharmacy Manager at Isra University Islamabad. He has worked as Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Muller and Phipps Pakistan PVT LTD. He is currently working as Depot Manager Logistics at Muller and Phipps Pakistan PVT LTD.

Engr. Muhammad Hisham Khan
Muhammad Hisham Khan received B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Hamdard Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET), Hamdard University Islamabad Campus (HUIC) in 2011. With his passion and commitments, he joined ZAMTAS international Ptv Ltd, Sydney Australia as an Electrical Engineering. He always has a desire to compete in market that’s why he completed master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Western Sydney, Australia and in Engineering Management from University of Technology Sydney, Australia. Currently, he is working as a Project Manager (Electrical) in CIS international Ptv Ltd, Sydney Australia.

Engr. Tahir Mehmood
Tahir Mehmood received B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Hamdard Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET), Hamdard University Islamabad Campus (HUIC) in 2011. He gets a chance to excel in his carrier in JITS Solutions, Islamabad as an Electrical Engineer in 2012. Afterward, he promoted as a Branch Manager in Rastek Technologies Karachi. His social activities and passion towards current affairs motivate him to get a master’s degree in International Relations from National Defense University Islamabad. Nowadays, he is working as a media officer in BISP/Ehsaas Program at Pakistan Secretariat, Islamabad.

Engr. Syed Usman Ali
Syed Usman Ali is a young entrepreneur and a passionate engineer with a clear vision of future of renewable energy in Pakistan. He is a graduate of Hamdard University, completing his electrical engineering with distinction in 2011. With his enthusiasm, drive, commitment and dedication, he co-founded a technology concern; NANX Engineering which rose to heights in just 7 years time.
He is a regular visitor of engineering colleges and technical institutes to deliver talks and organize seminars and workshops, on alternate energy and its future in Pakistan. His particular focus is creation of well trained and equipped engineers and technicians to solarize our energy starved country, most efficiently and professionally.
He has a passion for promotion of solar energy for making up the power shortage in the country and cleaner and greener Pakistan.

Engr. Shakeel Ahmed (CEO Safeway Tourism Pvt. Ltd.)
I feel proud to be a part of Saeedian’s. I am a former student at Hamdard University Islamabad Campus and graduated in 2016 as an Electrical Engineer. Since 2016 I had a plan to be a businessman, therefore, I have started my own business of tourism industry and e-commerce business Alhamdulillah with a grace of Allah almighty I have achieved a milestone and get a chance to open my offices in different countries (Pakistan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, UK, etc.) and launched an international portal with my own company name (Safeway Tourism) which is a great achievement. Insha Allah, I am planning to launch this portal across the globe with my own branding which provides all services of tourism under one roof (Hoteling, ticketing, transfers, visa consultancy, B2B and B2C business categories)
Alhamdulillah, I have also started my own manufacturing of cosmetics in Pakistan by considering the international level.
I was a former youth advisor at PakistanTehreekInsaf Islamabad region, also a co-founder and director of Beydar Society and Echo Change which is working in almost ten countries. Whatever I have achieved in my life is just because of my parents and with the guidance of respected teachers.
Engr. Hussain Haider
Hussain Haider is a public speaker, trainer, and founder of two non-profit organizations, human rights activist by passion, global citizen by choice and an Engineer by qualification. Haider witnessed a suicide bomb attack while he was on his way to school, which became his motivation to work for DE radicalization using education as a tool. So he founded his Ngo named Beydaar Society when he was just 14 years old, and his other organization “Echo Change”, which he co-founded with another youth leader from Canada is currently having its presence in 10 countries and both organizations are working to promote United Nation’s SDGs. Haider is a theater artist and during the initial years, his organization used theater as a tool to bring awareness. His organization “Beydaar Society” has recently launched a project named “National Youth Coalition for Education” which has become Pakistan’s first and largest youth-led coalition for Education and through that platform; he has been successful to train directly and indirectly up to 5000 youth in 22 different cities of Pakistan. He was also one of the 15 Emerging leaders of Pakistan in the year 2015, selected by U.S Embassy Islamabad. It is his firm belief in education that has led him this far. He believes that through education this world can become a better and peaceful place. He is one of the Okayama youth leader and currently holding the membership of UNESCO’s GAP(Global Action Plan on Education for Sustainable Development) partners network.
Haider has attended several national and international conferences both as a participant as well as mentor/facilitator. His efforts have been recognized through several grants and awards. His awards include Emerging Leaders of Pakistan-2015 granted by US Embassy Islamabad and Distinguish Alumni Award-2017 granted by the US Ambassador to Pakistan.
Engr. Muhammad Suliman Khan
Muhammad SulimanKhan, a proud student of Hamdard University batch 2014 and currently doing a Master in Electrical power systems in Budapest university of technology and economics in Hungary(Europe).
To achieve my goal I am thankful to my teachers who guide me on how to get scholarship opportunities. I was selected for Chinese govt scholarship but my ambition was to do a master from Europe. So I Apply for Scholarship through HEC. I was selected for stipendium hungaricum scholarship by HEC.
Engr. Misha Khan
Graduated as Electrical Engineer from batch (2012 – 2016), Me, Engr Misha Khan got admission into the University of Glasgow, UK. Due to extensive and adequate learning that I got from Hamdard University during my undergraduate, I got into the Russell Group university which is in the world ranking for completing her Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Management. My dissertation is on 3d printing and a prosthetic arm. I am currently doing my MBA at the University of Derby, UK.

I am Muhammad Amash Arshad student of Hamdard University Islamabad campus for batch 2012-16. I am currently working as an Assistant Manager at Sky Electric Pvt. Ltd. Hamdard university helped me achieving quality education and taught me to be very confident and self-assured in building my career as an Electrical Engineer, which was obviously my main concern after leaving university. I was prepared for interviews and ready to hit the ground running. I got my first job in a UK based company right after the ending of last semester. It would be unfair if I don’t mention the faculty of HIET who left me with the path to success. Determination in achieving goals, doing well in everything and served my best helped immensely in my career, I hope this continues!
