Prof. Dr. Azhar Hussain
Prof. Dr. Azhar Hussain graduated with a bachelor degree in pharmacy from University of Punjab Pakistan and received master’s degree in pharmacy practice from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has completed his PhD in pharmacy practice from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has published more than 100 research articles and presented research findings at more than 50 international and national platforms. He has published various book chapters as well as worked as a principal investigator in various projects related to pharmacy practice in collaboration with the government of Pakistan. He has also worked as a national assessor for WHO Good Governance of Medicines in Pakistan. His research focus includes social and administrative pharmacy, rational use of medicines, legal compliance and dispensing practices at community pharmacies, case management at community pharmacies, pharmacy education and curriculum, pharmacovigilance and medication therapy management of chronic diseases. Prof. Dr. Azhar Hussain is also an HEC approved supervisor for postgraduate students in pharmacy practice.
Prof. Dr. Madeeha Malik
Prof. Dr. Madeeha Malik graduated with a bachelor degree in pharmacy from Bahauddin Zikriya University Pakistan and received master’s degree in pharmaceutics from University of Sargodha Pakistan. She completed her PhD in pharmacy practice from Universiti Sains Malaysia. She has done post-doctorate from North West University South Africa. She has published more than 100 research articles and presented research findings at more than 50 international and national platforms. She is a focal person of EuroQol for Pakistan as well as representing Pakistan at various international platforms such as International Pharmaceutical Federation, ATINER and EuroQol Asia Consortium Academy. She has published various book chapters and is member of editorial board of renowned journals such as Trends in Medical Research, International Journal of Pharmacology and Journal of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences. Her research expertise include health related quality of life, health information management systems, supply chain, mental health issues, chronic disease management, intervention studies at community pharmacies, health technology, infectious disease management, pharmacy workforce, personality traits, obesity disorders and pharmacovigilance. Prof. Dr. Madeeha Malik is also an HEC approved supervisor for pharmacy practice in Pakistan.
Dr. Iqbal Nasiri
Dr. Iqbal Nasiri graduated with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Karachi and completed a master’s degree in pharmaceutics. He has completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Karachi, Pakistan. He has published various articles related to pharmaceutical technology, formulation development, quality control of pharmaceuticals and pharmacokinetics of finished products. He is also supervising master’s students of pharmaceutics in Pakistan.
Ms. Ayisha Hashmi
Ms. Ayisha Hashmi graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Hamdard University Islamabad Pakistan and completed her masters in pharmacy practice from Hamdard University Islamabad. She has published various articles related to pharmacy workforce and work-life balance, mental health issues among undergraduate students, health-related quality of life and personality traits. She is currently part of the editorial team for the healthcare journal of pharmaceutical and allied sciences.
Mr. Zahid Munawar
Mr. Zahid Munawar graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from GC University Faisalabad Pakistan and completed his master’s in pharmaceutical chemistry from Riphah International University Islamabad. He has published various research articles related to natural drug discovery, product formulation and quality control testing and natural medicinal compounds testing for typhoid and urolithiasis.
Dr. Kaleem Ullah
Dr. Kaleem Ullah graduated with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the Gomal University, DI khan. He has completed his Masters & Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Comsats University Abbottabad, Pakistan. He has published various articles related to pharmaceutical technology, formulation development, quality control of pharmaceuticals and pharmacokinetics of finished products.
