Director’s Message

Welcome to the Hamdard Institutes of Pharmaceutical Sciences (HIPS), an esteemed institution located in Islamabad with the aim of promoting excellence in pharmaceutical education and research. Our objective is to change the society through education with the belief that every student deserves a high-quality education. There are so many challenges and great opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, for that we need to think out-of-the-box and provide the best knowledge to our students. Since its inception, Pharmacy Department has remained a place of innovation and excellence in pharmacy education.

Currently we are offering Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) in Pharmacy Practice, where the students are provided opportunities for their professional development and innovative techniques at par with the ever-growing and demanding pharmaceutical field. We are continuously working on the hands-on expertise of students by engaging them in the practical work along with theoretical classes. We are also providing an exciting and engaging environment for the students to pursue their extra-curricular and co-curricular activities which will make them a successful human being and a skillful professional.

I wish for a successful and fulfilling life to all my students in future endeavors. And I hope all the alumni of Pharmacy Department who are the ambassador of the University, will keep the light of Pharmacy bright.
