Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aamer Saleem
Dr. Aamer Saleem earned his Ph.D. in 2007. His research focuses on the algorithms for digital communication systems and digital signal processing. Primarily he worked on multi-user multi-carrier systems and wireless sensor networks. He did a lot of work on evolutionary computing techniques like Genetic Algorithms (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Differential Evolution. He has proposed different variants of these algorithms for multi-user detection in systems like Space-Time coding, CDMA, and OFDM.
He also has produced three PhDs in the field of MC-CDMA, OFDM and cognitive radio networks. His future targets for research are wireless sensor networks and human health. He is serving HIET, Hamdard University Islamabad since March 2016.
Dr. Amjad Khan
Dr. Amjad Khan had done his Ph.D. (Computer Sciences) at the University of Malaysia Sarawak; he has research expertise in the area of Image Processing specifically in the Medical domain namely (Cardiac, Brain and others), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Furthermore, has particularly interested in the development of mathematical methods for the interpretation of high-dimensional data, such as images and video information extraction. Overall he has authored 1book chapter and 6 Different International journal articles and 3 different international conference proceedings are published in the area of medical image processing. The on-going projects of Ph.D./MS/BS. are: Algorithm Based study: automatic solution for cardiac function assessment, Classification among pathological and non-pathological tissue using cardiac injury detection, Intelligent drone images solution of security, agriculture and other purposes, cancer cell classification and Hand Gesture Control of Laptop using Webcam. He is serving HIIET, Hamdard University Islamabad since February 2019.
Engr. Dr. Hasan Raza
Hasan Raza was born in Pakistan in 1988. He received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2019. Currently, He is serving as a distinguished assistant professor and chairman of electrical engineering at Hamdard University, Islamabad, Pakistan. An author of several scholarly publications, his research interests includes adaptive distributed estimation, distributed adaptive signal processing and information security.
Engr. Muhammad Asghar Khan
Muhammad Asghar Khan received a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Iqra University, Karachi, Pakistan, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Center of Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE), Islamabad, Pakistan. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering with the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), ISRA University, Islamabad. He is also serving as a Lecturer with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hamdard University, Islamabad. His research interests include UAVs/drones with a focus on networks, platforms, security, as well as applications and services. He is a reviewer of various journals published by the IEEE, Elsevier, MDPI, and EURASIP.
Engr. Inam ur Rehman Rao
Engr. Muhammad IR Rao received a B.E. degree in Electronics Engineering from Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) in 2007 and M.S, a degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (C&EME), National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan in 2011. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the intracardiac signal from C&EME, NUST. He serves as an assistant professor with Hamdard University Islamabad Campus since May 2013.
Engr. Musayyab Ali
Musayyab Ali enrolled in Ph.D. in Electrical engineering at the college of EME NUST. He did his masters in Electrical (Control system) engineering from the college of EME NUST. He had published in ISI indexed journals in the field of sample data robust control and non-linear controls. He is serving Hamdard University as a lecturer in the Electrical engineering department since March 2015.
Engr. Uzma Majeed
Engr. Uzma Majeed completed her MS in Computer Engineering from U.E.T Taxila. Her research has been published in renowned HEC recognized ISI Indexed journals. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in the field of Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks from International Islamic University Islamabad. She is serving Hamdard University as a faculty member since February 2017.
