Awareness Campaign

Experts from Hamdard Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences initiated an awareness campaign: Covid-19: Care Karo Na in order to promote awareness and hope regarding COVID-19 among the community. HIPS aimed to lead as academic healthcare professionals to support the Government and Nation to combat COVID-19. Keeping in view the low literacy rate of population, a mobile application Corona Care Karu Na was specifically designed in local language i.e. Urdu so could fit into the local context. All the content in this app was a compilation of WHO, CDC or Government of Pakistan guiding documents.

In addition to the mobile application, a youtube channel was created where awareness and education videos regarding Covid-19 are available as well as messages from the community for healthcare professionals were also showcased.
